The joint that connects the lower and upper jaw is called TMJ, which stands for the Temporomandibular Joint. There are a variety of reasons why patients deal with TMJ problems, including stress, infections, hormones, and genetics. Patients with poor posture and weak upper back muscles can deal with TMJ. Clenching or grinding of the teeth will cause pain and can cause the jaw to lock up.

- Blurred vision
- Sore neck muscles
- Shoulder pain
- Pain in the temples
